The Catholic Business Network of Washington, D.C. sponsors monthly networking events in Washington.
Every autumn, the annual CBN-DC Gala brings the community together to support Catholic education, and to honor our Catholic Business Person of the Year and our Religious of the Year Awardees. Sponsorship and advertising opportunities are available.
CBN-DC breakfasts take place on the fourth Thursday of most months. They offer an opportunity for networking with other members and their guests, to share business and service opportunities. After breakfast served up by La Prima Catering, we have enjoyed many speakers on topics relating to business, the Church, and Catholic education, among them
- John Ritz, President of WC Smith
- Dr. Andrew Abela, Dean of School of Business and Economics at the Catholic University of America.
- John Matteo, President of Jackson & Campbell law firm
Doors open at 8am and the program concludes by 9:30am.
We are greatly privileged to have the Great Hall of the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, in downtown Washington, as our breakfast venue. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the staff and parishioners of the Cathedral.
CBN-DC also sponsors evening receptions at a variety of venues in and around downtown Washington, ranging from the University Club to St. Matthew's Cathedral to the I Ricchi restaurant. The evening receptions bring together members and their guests to network and socialize in elegant but comfortable settings.
As CBN-DC grows, we look forward to hosting additional events such as retreats, tours, community service opportunities, and more. If you would like to help us organize these activities and programs, please contact us.
